Public pages set no cookies

If you're visiting someone's PlusLink page, we set nothing at all. No analytics cookie, no advertising cookie, nothing.

Logged-in users

When you sign in we set one cookie so you stay signed in. It's http-only, it expires after 90 days, and it's used for nothing else. There's also a short-lived one that remembers the username you typed before checking your email.

How we count views without cookies

We record that a page was loaded, on what kind of device and from which country and referring domain. Nothing ties two visits to the same person, which is enough for useful numbers and avoids tracking anyone.
